This is the first Tatcha product that I have ever used and to be honest I'm really digging it! The Tatcha The Pearl Tinted Eye Illuminating Treatment is fairly new with it debuting a little over a year ago. Since it's debut the reviews have been outstanding. I have a night eye cream that I really like but haven't had much luck finding a day one until this came out. In this post I'll talk about my experience with this product, but let's first talk about it's ingredients and how and when to use it.
The Tatcha The Pearl Tinted Eye Illuminating Treatment is said to do 3 things:

Anti-Aging Hydration

Awakens: Light-refracting pearl pigments work with Akoya Pearl extract in an active skincare treatment formula to restore radiance by helping to address the three causes of under eye darkness: thinning skin, blue undertones, and pigmentation. The Pearl works to address dark circles, fine lines, and wrinkles by helping minimize glycation and the appearance of hyperpigmentation. It is boosted by niacinamide, known to visibly brighten and firm.
Smooths and Protects: Silk powder smooths the look of fine lines and imperfections, while a blend of botanical extracts protects from makeup and pollution that can cause signs of aging.

HOW DO YOU USE IT?
NOTE: This will be step 5 of your morning #skincare routine.
1. Take a rice size amount on your finger tip per eye. Pat it on from inside the eye outward. Go all the way to the hairline.
2. Continue to press on areas under the eye until it is absorbed.
3. I noticed pressing doesn't always evenly disburse the cream so don't be afraid to rub outward gently using your ring finger.
MY RESULTS
I haven't been using this product very long but so far I really like it. I never wore make-up before so I didn't really know if I would like this cream or not. The truth is I really like what it does to my eyes. I don't have eye bags or dark spots so I don't get the full effect but it does make my eyes glow. It's like a nice little accent tint. It is important to know that this cream comes in 3 different colors. I'm Italian with olive skin and I find the softlight version works best for me. If you are really white then you will want to use moonlight and if you are African American you will want to use candlelight.
In conclusion, the Tatcha The Pearl Tinted Eye Illuminating Treatment is a great 2 in 1 solution for those who want the best of both worlds. You will get great anti-aging results due to it's water cream and also a great matte finish to the eyes. It's not often you get great anti-aging and make-up in an all and one package but this one definitely doesn't disappoint!
